Feature Set:
Spyware Doctor offers many good features, including Real-Time Blocking and Protection and color-coded Spyware Severity Identification , but the program is missing key features like Rollback and Restore capabilities.

There are descriptions available for the spyware and adware found on your computer, but the program cuts off the right-side of each sentence, so you must resize the column width each time you read a description; this is irritating and unnecessary.

Effectiveness:
We found Spyware Doctor extremely effective at rooting out spyware. It program detected most of the spyware and adware we used to challenge the program.

Ease of Use:
Spyware Doctor's main screen and controls are well-designed, allowing easy navigation. We found features like Scanning, Immunization, and Active Protection with little effort.

Customization:
Spyware Doctor comes with some basic customization tools, including Run on Startup and Quick Scan/Full Scan, but felt that it could have included many more, like a memory scan or scan the hard drive only.

Ease of Setup/Installation:
We were able to download and install Spyware Doctor with ease. Once installed, the program walks you through a step-by-step installation guide. The instructions only take about two minutes to complete.

Help/Support:
PC Tools offers a few different support options for Spyware Doctor including a built-in help application, email support and a FAQs page on their website.

Summary:
Spyware Doctor by PC Tools is a good product for detecting spyware and adware. The program is intuitively designed, but could use more features to increase its convenience and usefulness.
